Specialist assessment, diagnosis and management of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome and autonomic disorders including orthostatic intolerance, inappropriate sinus tachycardia, and vasovagal syncope. Includes tilt table testing, autonomic function assessment, and personalised long-term management plans.

General Cardiology

Comprehensive consultant-led cardiac assessments covering chest pain, palpitations, breathlessness, hypertension, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and arrhythmia management. Your initial consultation includes a full clinical history, physical examination, ECG, and a clear plan for any further investigations or treatment.

Echocardiography

Advanced cardiac ultrasound imaging to assess heart structure and function. Used to evaluate valve disease, cardiomyopathy, congenital heart conditions, heart failure, and pericardial disease. The scan is non-invasive, takes around 30-45 minutes, and provides real-time imaging with results discussed during your consultation.

Medico-Legal Services

Independent cardiac medical reports for solicitors, insurers, courts, and legal professionals. Services include expert witness testimony, personal injury reports, clinical negligence opinions, insurance and capacity assessments, and fitness-to-work evaluations. Reports are produced to Part 35 CPR standards with typical turnaround within 4-6 weeks.

Holter / Ambulatory ECG

Continuous heart rhythm recording over 24-72 hours to detect arrhythmias, AF, ectopics, pauses, and heart block. A small portable device is posted to your home. You attach it yourself, wear it during normal activities, and return it for analysis. Results are reviewed by your consultant and discussed at your follow-up.

Ambulatory Blood Pressure

24-hour automatic blood pressure monitoring worn on the upper arm, measuring BP every 20-30 minutes throughout day and night. Ideal for diagnosing white-coat hypertension, masked hypertension, or assessing the effectiveness of medication. Delivered to your door and returned by post.

Tilt Table Test

A specialist diagnostic for evaluating unexplained dizziness, fainting (syncope), and suspected POTS or autonomic dysfunction. You lie on a motorised table that tilts to 70° while heart rate and blood pressure are continuously monitored. The test takes around 45 minutes and is performed in a controlled clinical environment.

Exercise Stress ECG

Treadmill-based exercise testing to assess how your heart performs under physical stress. Used to investigate chest pain, exercise-induced arrhythmias, and to assess fitness for surgery or sport. You walk on a treadmill with gradually increasing speed and incline while your ECG and blood pressure are monitored throughout.

Cardiac CT

High-resolution CT imaging of the heart and coronary arteries, primarily used for coronary artery calcium scoring and CT coronary angiography. A non-invasive alternative to catheter angiography, ideal for patients with intermediate risk of coronary artery disease. The scan takes just minutes with results available promptly.
