I am an experienced Consultant Cardiologist with more than two decades of clinical experience in cardiovascular medicine. I specialise in general cardiology, as well as the assessment of symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, chest discomfort, breathlessness, and unexplained fatigue.
I also have particular expertise in dysautonomia and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), including cardiovascular symptoms associated with long COVID.
My consultations focus on understanding the full story behind each patient’s symptoms, combining careful clinical reasoning with targeted investigations and clear explanations. Patients often tell me they feel properly listened to, understood, and reassured — something I believe is central to good medical care.

Hello, I’m Jennifer (Jenny), and I’m the cardiac physiologist who performs your echocardiogram. I have more than 30 years of experience working as a cardiac physiologist, and during that time I’ve carried out thousands of echocardiograms.
What I’ve learned is that many patients arrive feeling uncertain — sometimes anxious about their symptoms, sometimes worried about what the test might show. My aim is to make the experience feel calm, clear and supportive from the moment we meet.
Before we begin the scan, I’ll explain what the echocardiogram involves and answer any questions you may have. During the procedure I will guide you gently through each step, making sure you remain comfortable throughout.

My name is Gemma (Gem), and I provide patient coordination and administrative support, helping to ensure that each patient’s journey is smooth, organised, and well-supported from first contact through to follow-up care.
I have a strong interest in holistic wellbeing and take a thoughtful, people-centred approach to my work. I combine my administrative experience with an understanding of movement and lifestyle factors, supporting patients in feeling informed, at ease, and cared for throughout their healthcare journey.
